Sabrina Greenwood

Dr. Sabrina GreenwoodAfter Dr. Greenwood completed her BSc in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph and MSc in Animal Science at the University of Alberta, she then completed her PhD at the University of Guelph, where her graduate research was focused on understanding protein metabolism in ruminants with nutritionally induced metabolic acidosis. Dr. Greenwood moved to New Zealand to become an Assistant Professor at Lincoln University, where her research was focused on nutritional strategies to alter nitrogen metabolism in dairy cows to reduce environmental nitrogen losses and alter milk protein profiles. Dr. Greenwood will continue to focus her research on dairy cattle nutrition in her role as Assistant Professor in Animal Nutrition. She will also continue to emphasize the use of alternative forages and byproducts as nutritional strategies to manipulate dairy outputs in her research program at UVM, and will also be teaching Animal Nutrition, Metabolism and Feeding (ASCI 110).
