This preceptor program offers 8-12 week internships
students and other people interested in wildlife
education. Responsibilities include cleaning, feeding, and
of orphaned and injured wildlife, and daily maintenance of the
hospital. During orphan season a large amount of
include preparing diets, feeding orphans, and monitoring their
progress. Most of the teaching will be hands-on.
All applicants must be self-motivated individuals
sincere interest in working with wildlife and the ability to
enthusiastically work long hours. Attention to detail,
initiative and a strong desire to learn are required. At least
