San Diego Zoo
Global is a conservation organization dedicated to the science of
saving endangered species worldwide. San Diego Zoo Global operates
three world-class facilities: the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Zoo
Safari Park, and the San Diego Zoo Institute for Conversation
Research.
San Diego Zoo Institute for Conservation Research offers Summer
College Student Fellowships in several areas of research,
including Applied Animal Ecology, Applied Plant Ecology,
Behavioral Biology, Conservation Education, Genetics, Reproductive
Physiology, and Wildlife Disease Laboratories/Molecular
Diagnostics. Fellowships are for current undergraduate college
students only. The application process generally begins in early
January, with an application deadline towards the end of February.
