"I would recommend to any animal
science student who is looking to go into the dog training or animal
behavior field to do an internship with The Dog School. The staff is
fun to work with and the job itself is interesting and rewarding.
However, anyone who is interested should be prepared to get their hand
(and sometimes their whole bodies) dirty, because dogs have no
consideration for whether or not you just sowered and don't feel like
getting mud on you! This internship also needs a confident, out going
person because it is a very public job and you will not learn as much
you are shy and unresponsive. I honestly think that this was one of my
better decisions while an undergraduate at UVM and the skill I learned
will help me in the future."
