Location: Columbia, MO.
Six week undergraduate internships (mid June-early July) at the Department of Animal Sciences, University of Missiouri-Columbia. Twenty interns are selected to work with and carry out research projects with faculty researchers in areas such as animal nutrition, reproductive physiology, genetics, molecular biology, environmental physiology, and production and management.
Stipends are $3,200, and in addition, funds for research and travel to professional meetings are awarded to interns. Junior standing, strong interest and potential for graduate study, and minimum 3.0 GPA required. Registration and housing (on campus) expenses not included. Applications due in mid March.
