Classical English riding has been taught at Teela-Wooket since 1913 and today's campers enjoy a range of mounted activities such as; show jumping, dressage, eventing, hunter trials, cross-country, pony club games, polo-crosse, and trail riding through the beautiful mountains of Vermont. The emphasis is on fun in the riding program and their campers love to play a part in the daily care of their hoses. Campers learn everything from stable management to animal behavior and first aid to feeding. They have three outdoor schools, show jumps, a hunter trials course and an exciting cross country course which includes drop fences and a water jump. They appreciate that children are individuals so their staff are trained to develop a progress plan with each camper designed to boost their confidence and improve their riding skills.
