Internships & Careers

providertemplate North Carolina Aquarium at Fort FisherNorth Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher

Location:  Kure Beach, North Carolina

Internships allow interested and qualified college students the opportunity to explore their interest and gain practical work experience.

Internships are available throughout the year to interested students over the age of 18 seeking work experience or college credit. Qualified individuals are assigned specific projects working along side experienced Aquarium staff.

Internships are unpaid; however, all necessary training is provided. Prior marine science knowledge is not required but always appreciated.

Interns typically commit to three full-days each week. Those unable to work for that amount of of time can still gain experience by joining the volunteer program.
