gilbert Lamoille Valley Veterinary Services Internship - (Shannon Gilbert)

"This internship provided me with a ton of experience. I got to o things that I had never done before, and I was given an immense amount of responsibility. The downside of that, however, is that often I was left to find things to do for mysef, and left out of the medical/surgical aspect of the job to do kennel work. I would say that, mostly because work was pretty slow, 75 percent of my internship involved me being a kennel person. I have never done anything like this therefore I have nothing to compare to. Howeber, I feel that the internship provider could have much more organized and structured as to what my training was going to be. I probably would not intern there again, but I would work there, if I were getting paid."
