Location:  Sudbury, Vermont

Trevin Farms is a unique Farm Stay in Sudbury, Vermont (near Middlebury). They offer guests the opportunity to interact with their goats during feeding, milking and cheese making. They explain to their guests the needs and care of the goats, their upkeep as far as health, diet and overall well-being. They dispel myths about goats and show guests how warm and loving goats actually are.

As an intern at Trevin Farms, you would share responsibility in the care, feeding, birthing and overall health of the goats; taking them for walks each day to insure their health by physical activity. Clean-up is also part of their health and each week the pens will be cleaned and new bedding put down. Interns would also have to keep an eye on the goats to detect changes in "personality" or habits to closely monitor possible healthy issues. Bottle feeding of the kids, milking of the does, and assisting in cheese making are also part of this internship.

Trevin Farms will provide interns with room and board.
Internships are on a continual basis.  Trevin Farms needs help year round and they offer flexible hours.
