Location: Plymouth, MA

Plimoth Plantation, the living history museum in Plymouth, Mass., has paid internships in its farm department.  Qualified undergraduate and advanced degree candidates are welcome to apply.  Although internships are offered throughout the year, in the farm department the paid positions are 12 week summer commitments beginning in May. Stipends range to $2500.

Interns will strengthen their knowledge of large animals by working with rare breed herds. Beside the expected work of cleaning, feeding, watering the animals, interns will learn proper herd health procedures. Among possible topics for student projects is the development of a comprehensive herd census. For more information, contact:
