Location:  Millerton, New York

McEnroe Organic Farm is New York State's largest family-run certified organic farm. A small example of the farm's harvest is beef, chicken, pork, tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, lettuce, broccoli and much more. All products raised on the farm are nourishing and wholesome. McRnroe Organic soil is vitamin rich, because they re-use and recycle everything on the farm. The farm collects food scraps, manure from farm animals, and surrounding home lawn clippings to compost into nutrient-loaded humus. The humus is used copiously to rejuvenate the soil structure as well as animal grazing and crop rotation. There are no pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizer used on the farm.

The farm breeds and raises Beef Cattle, Sheep, Pigs, Chickens and Turkeys. Interns will work closely with Erich McEnroe and learn the farm's cyclical system of organic and natural animal husbandry.

Housing is provided on the farm and interns are paid.  ASCI students who work with livestock would receive credit.
