The Barking Dog, Ltd. has been offering boarding, daycare, grooming and training services to pets in Southern New Hampshire for over a decade. Their Derry, NH facility located on Route 28 opened in 1994 offering boarding, grooming and training. A large expansion took place in 2003, providing a 3500 square foot gym along with a turfed outdoor yard.

In 1999 a second facility opened up in Hooksett, NH serving the greater Manchester area. Then in December of 2005 a third facility opened in Exeter, NH.
