northcountry North Country Animal League's LogoNorth Country Animal League's Summer Camp "Awesome Animal Adventures"

Location:  Morrisville, Vermont.

Camp generally begins the week after July 4th and will most likely run for 4 weeks.  The goal of our summer camp, "Awesome Animal Adventures" is to teach children about compassion and kindness to all living things.  We have a variety of animal visitors including, but not limited to: dogs, cats, chickens, llamas, turtles, snakes, bunnies and goats.  Campers learn about these animals and the care that they need as well as being able to interact with them.  Campers also participate in arts and crafts such as making t-shirts, painting animal magnets and pins, baking dog and cat treats and bead work.  Camp takes place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday in Morrisville on Route 100 about 4 miles north of Stowe.

Interns would be responsible for carrying out daily camp activities.  Ten hours of training before camp begins is required as well as attending a one hour meeting upon the conclusion of camp.  This is a non-paid internship.
