Equine Law
Horsemanship Safety |
This site contains comprehensive resource materials on equine law and horsemanship safety. It is hosted by the University of Vermont. Both the legal and horsemanship materials are suitable for use by law students, lawyers, and the general public. The materials are updated each week with new law cases for horsemen within days after they have been decided by the courts and with other materials as they become available. The equine law information provided here is not legal advice and no attorney-client relationship is created by its communication. The horsemanship safety information provided here is not supplied in the capacity as an instructor or trainer and should not be relied upon as such. The site is maintained in cooperation with the American Association for Horsemanship Safety (AAHS). AAHS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization devoted to promoting safety on and around horses. You
may wish to visit the AAHS web site for information about its riding
instructor certification clinics, workshops on horsemanship safety and
legal liability, safety helmets, books, videos and other horsemanship
safety materials, and referrals to experts and attorneys in horse
accident cases.
