Requirements:  16 hours including the following: 

ASCI 001        Introductory Animal Science    (4 credits)
ASCI 043        Fundamentals of Nutrition (3 credits)

plus 9 hours at the ASCI 100 level or above including at least three hours at the ASCI 200 level

Prerequisites:  Chemistry 023 or higher
                      Biology 001 or higher

ASCI 115        Introduction to Equine Studies (4 credits)

ASCI 141        Anatomy and Physiology of Domestic Animals (4 credits)
ASCI 161        Laboratory Animal Health and Disease (3 credits)
ASCI 171        Zoos, Exotics and Endangered Species (3 credits)

ASCI 200 level courses:

ASCI 205        Equine Reproduction and Management (3 credits)
ASCI 213        Dairy Herd Management

ASCI 215        Physiology of Reproduction (4 credits)
ASCI 216        Endocrinology (3 credits)
ASCI 220        Lactation Physiology  (3 credits)
ASCI 231        Advanced Ruminant Nutrition and Dairy Cattle Feeding (2 credits)
ASCI 233        Dairy Cattle Breeding (2 credits)
ASCI 263        Clinical Topics in Livestock Medicine (3 credits)
ASCI 272        Advanced Topics in Zoos, Exotics, and Endangered Species (3 credits)
