North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge (NAIDC) is an innovative two-day competition for students representing dairy science programs at North American universities. Its mission is to facilitate education, communication and an exchange of ideas among students, agribusiness, dairy producers and universities that enhances the development of the dairy industry and its leaders.

NAIDC celebrated its 10th anniversary on March 31-April 2, 2011, in Hickory, NC attracting 137 college students from 30 schools across the US and Canada.

Gold Awards were presented to several teams including the University of Vermont.  In addition, one Gold Award team combined students from UW-Madison, the University of Vermont and Michigan State.

The 2012 national contest will be hosted by Virginia Tech and North Carolina State University and will be held on March 29-31, 2012, in Roanoke, VA.
