ASCI pre-vet student, Garth Cummings, along with a team from Partners in Health, recently spent a week in Bilwaskarma, Nicaragua providing medical, surgical, and veterinary services to local residents and their animals. Partners in Health is a nonprofit, nondenominational organization whose mission is to provide health services, training, education, and volunteer opportunities for health care providers in third world countries.

In addition, Garth and his friend Pete are riding their bicycles from Maine to Seattle this summer to raise money for Partners in Health.  Please visit their website for more information.
